Cycle Routes at Huff and Puff Cycles

Enjoy our picturesque cycle routes, all starting and finishing at Kelling Heath Holiday Park. We have rides for all abilities through leafy tracks, colourful heathland and woodland trails and alongside stunning coastal views.

Visit many points of interest including Kelling Tea Rooms, Baconsthorpe Castle ruins and Letheringsett Mill, or try our unique "Huff and Puff Trail", which includes a steam train journey on the North Norfolk Poppy Line.

Holt Explorer Route

Distance: 4 miles/6.5 km

A trip to the North Norfolk Railway station at Holt (5 miles there and back) and on to the Georgian market town and its country park (9 miles there and back). Traffic-free to the station then quiet back lanes into Holt.

High Point & Castle Explorer Route

Distance: 10 miles/16 km

10-mile trip on quiet lanes to almost the highest point in Norfolk (a truly staggering 275 feet!) and the atmospheric ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle.

Kelling Coastal Explorer Route

Distance: 9 miles/14.5 km

Fascinating off-road and quiet lanes 9-mile route that visits the coast and the village of Salthouse. Great journey, great views, choice of refreshments. Some rougher off-road stretches and a short but sharp climb out of Salthouse.

Sheringham Park & Town Explorer Route

Distance: 8 miles/13 km

A mix of tracks and quiet lanes on this exploration to the National Trust's Sheringham Park (visit the 40-foot viewing tower), the village of Upper Sheringham, and on into Sheringham itself if you wish. An out-and-back 8-mile trip if you do the whole ride, or stop in the park for a picnic (or a nearby pub). Steady uphill on parts of the return journey.

Time for Tea & Garden Centre Route

Distance: 3.5 miles/6.5 km

An easy riding 3-mile round trip that uses tracks and quiet lanes to visit the nearby Holt Garden Centre and Tearoom. The garden centre is open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm (10.00 to 4.00 on Sundays).

Visit the ruins of Beeston Regis Priory, and carry on for a short distance to the absorbing Priory Maze and Gardens.

Distance: 13 Miles/21 km (excluding detours)

A mostly quiet lanes ride that follows a 13-mile circular route. Two great pubs in Wiveton and Cley, and the unusual Shell Museum and river ford in Glandford. Option to visit Letheringsett Mill. A couple of moderate hills.
